When working with a gravity fed HHO system, it is important to make sure you have a nice straight drop from your electrolyte reservoir down to your HydroCell. A good 12-14 inch drop will do for a single cell system, and 14-16 for a dual cell system.
If you are unable to mount your HHO Cell in this fashion there are a few other options to keep your cells circulating optimally.
By installing a small water pump you can insure your HHO cell will continuously circulate and produce quality HHO, while keeping your cell cleaner.
For configurations where the distance from the tank to the cell are less than the suggested drop (under 12 inches), I recommend using a smaller pump like the picture below.
This is a high temperature (up to 105′C), FDA food grade mini submersible water pump. The shaft is coated with a layer of ZrO2 (zirconium oxide) for higher temperature handling and better tolerance for acid and alkaline. It’s built by a brushless motor providing smooth and quiet operation than a non-brushless water pump. Plus,it will not generate ‘electric spark’ like what a brush type does so it’s more safe. It can be used to pump oil as well (no gasoline*)
For configurations where the distance from the reservoir to the cell are greater than the suggested drop (over 12-16 inches), I recommend using a larger pump like the one pictured below.
